AEROPLANES

2 November        

Socata TB-10 Tobago: G-CBGC        Sea Nr, Cannes Mandelieu Airport, France
Shortly before 20.00 hrs the aircraft disappeared from radar while on a night circuit training flight.  Some wreckage was found in the sea about 4 km SE of the airport.  The pilot, the sole occupant, is missing. (Source ASN & media).

Cessna FRA150L Aerobat: G-CIIR
The aircraft crashed in the hills north of Troutbeck, between Keswick and Penrith, Cumbria, during a flight from Netherthorpe.   The sole occupant pilot- owner received fatal injuries.  (Source: ASN).

Rans S6-116 Coyote:  G-BUWK:  Nr Heathfield, East Sussex
The aircraft crashed in a field near Herring Lane north of Heathfield and caught fire.  The pilot, the sole occupant died in the accident. Because of its weight this example is classified as an aeroplane.  (Source ASN).

Rotosport Cavalon: Nr Avoch, Black Isle, Scotland
The gyroplane took off from Inverness airport and crashed about 5 miles away in a field near Avoch on the Moray Firth coast.  The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. (Main Source: ASN).
