Cessna 172: Nr Ashford, Kent 
The aircraft had taken off from Rochester, Kent and crashed in a field near Billingford.  The pilot, the sole occupant, was killed. (Source ASN).

12 August       

Mudry CAP10B: G-BXBU:    Nr Buckland St Mary, Somerset
The aircraft crashed on farmland 8 miles South of Taunton  killing both occupants.  [This is the first CAP10 fatality in over 40 years, there are currently 31 on the UK register].  (Source: mainly ASN).

30 June  

Rogers Sky Prince ( Jodel 150): G-CJZU: Nr Goodwood Airfield, West Sussex
The amateur built aircraft crashed shortly after taking off.  Both occupants were killed.  The aircraft had formerly been on the Spanish register.  (Source ASN)

9 May  

Stampe SV-4C:   G-AWEF:    Lashenden (Headcorn) Airfield 
The pilot was killed when a Stampe Formation Flying Team aircraft crashed during formation practice at Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent.  An eyewitness reported that the aircraft was performing a stall turn.  (Source ASN).
