Cessna 172 Skyhawk?  Nr Beverley Aerodrome, Yorks
While on the approach to Beverley airfield, the aircraft crashed onto farmland about one mile north west of the airfield at about 19.30 hrs killing both occupants. (Source: ASN)

Grob 109B: Nr Raglan, Monmouthshire, Wales
The motor glider crashed in a field killing the two occupants while reportedly attempting a forced landing with engine trouble.  (Source ASN).

Rihn DR-107 One Design: G-CEPZ: Optand Airfield, Sweden
The single seat aircraft crashed during or after practising aerobatic manoeuvres, killing the female pilot.  The aircraft was constructed in the USA in 1996. (Source: ASN).  

13 May            
Cessna 208B Grand Caravan:   G-KNYS: Nr. Clonbulloge Aerodrome, Ireland
The aircraft impacted bog and woodland terrain 2 km from the airfield following a skydiving jump from about 13,000 ft overhead the airfield by 16 of the occupants onboard. The pilot and a juvenile passenger aged seven received fatal injuries.  The airfield is situated SW of Dublin and is owned by the Irish Parachute Club.  (Source ASN & Media).

Cessna 152: Nr Nutts Corner, Belfast
The aircraft from the Ulster Flying Club at Newtownards crashed close to the approach to Belfast International Airport, killing the two occupants. (Source ASN)

8 January
Piper PA28-161 Warrior:  Nr Overbury, Worcs
Both occupants were killed when the aircraft impacted Bredon Hill, reportedly in poor weather. (Source ASN)


27 October                      
Agusta Westland AW169: G-VSKP: Nr King Power Stadium, Leicester
During the initial climb having taken off from the football pitch inside the stadium, the helicopter crashed in a nearby car park and was destroyed by fire.  All five occupants were killed.  It is reported to be the first loss of an AW169 which is in use in several countries.  (Source ASN).

AS350 Ecuriel: Loch Scadavay, North Uist, Scotland
The helicopter engaged on fish farm support crashed into the Loch killing the pilot, the sole occupant. (Source ASN).

Bell 206B Jet Ranger: Nr Boroughbridge, Yorks
Shortly after taking off from a private site at Hursthwaite Nr Easingwold, N. Yorks, the helicopter crashed killing the pilot, the sole occupant.  The helicopter was constructed in 1994.  (Source: ASN).
