UK Outlook for Saturday 4 Mar 2017 to Monday 13 Mar 2017:

An unsettled picture is likely to continue. Frontal systems will move into the UK from the south or southwest at first, bringing bands of rain and strong winds at times, mainly across southern and central parts. Into the second week of March, the wet and windy weather will mainly affect northern and western areas, with snow over the hills at times. The best of the drier and brighter weather will start to develop across the south and east. Temperatures will generally vary around normal for the time
of year, often slightly above average in the south but rather cold at times in the north, with night frosts. There remains the possibility of a more widely settled but colder period, perhaps giving wintry showers in the east and north.
